Due to a lot of snow, some Alpentrail mushers - traditionally training in Langtaufers / Vallelunga, Italy - are cut off from the outside world. But this situation will be managed soon.
On the17, 18 and 19 February the village of Fourgs(France) host the European Championships of sled dogs. Almost 200 competitors will compete over various distances and in different categories (skijöring, ski-pulka, sleds ...) . There will be around 1200 dogs.
The race on the Giant Mountains(Krkonoše) in Czech-Poland border region was held from the 5th to the 8th of January. The snow condition were satisfy.
