What is mushing for you?
for me? my life 
..people what dont have sleddogs – for me looks like zombies 
and what is running and trening with my dogs for me? that is MEDITATION for me , I like when in the morning I take my bike and my dogs while all vilage sleep .We run to the forest for a morning run that’s long about 15km… that is one ot the most beautiful moments of all day -the moment of the sunrising…. in that moment all planet wake up….dark come to past… energy from the sun wake up everything….while me and my dogs pulling my bike or sleds… the air is fresh , all world around you is wakeing up from sleeping…in this moment I and dogs run… I feel fresh … my mind is fresh…and then come a moment when the runner disapear and only running is there now…. body-mind-soul works together …. mind disapear , problems disaper, silence and energy fill up my body, my soul… many of you know what im talking about…i see it in your smiles in races…i see it when you say hello to people that are present at races… yes MUSHING IS ANOTHER NAME FOR MEDITATION …and your dogs know it too

Slovak mushing born in under the deep Communist occupation , this is first musher look at video
This is a film made in Czechoslovakia 1977 – story is situated in alaska golden age- “run away from golden country” …. so in that film Slovak and Czech people have seen a sleddog team for the first time but first Alaskan Malamute come to Slovakia in 1981…and first real sleddog race was in 1988 ….
How are developed mushing sports there?
developed? mmm we have world championship here, euro champ… sprint/mid/long , mushers from many country come here to have fun and win…. many “non musher people ” like this sport and many people help with organization for free , when sleddog race come to some village..this is like a celebration for people living there and that make good atmosphere ….so it doesn’t mather if you are on world champ or only in a small race … here in Slovakia we want to see smile in your face ….
which are the major competitions in Slovakia?
major? what is major for real musher ? The major is when you win big goal? , but ok major races in SVK is Donovaly (World champ /euro champ…FISTC ) , and Zuberec (2012 -World champ WSA)

Yes , this competition already exists from the 1992…. make big prestige for Slovak mushers country…. in 1996 was organized for the Euro champ and had about 80 thousands people come to see this race:), in 1999 was organized for the World champ and had also about 80 thousands people as public too…. so in that time mushing have more funs theat the ice hockey 
In your opinion which are the most representative mushers in Slovakia
We have some nice womens mushers….mmm is that representative ? :D
What are the most important results of mushers brought home from Slovakia?
Milos Gonda win the La Grande Odysea 2011… this was the bigest , then we have many many many golds,silvers,bronze medal from world, euro champ …. snow/dryland , sprint/mid/long….

How are you organized during the hottest months / summer (canicross , bikejoring?)
Slovak mushers make trening all year…. many prepeare for dryland world champ 2011 /POLAND/ , we have a lot of dogtreking events…. so we have fun with dogs all year
You are “by force of circumstances” a musher. Tell us a little about you
I’m 29 old my first Malamut come to my life when i was 12 years old…. my first race was in 1998 with 1 malamut in pullka category…. then I pass to the category D2 with 2 malamutes. I start race on sled in the 2003 and in the 2005 I was 2nd at the world championship….Nowadays my dogs are old , one -Bonni will be 14years old… so i have decided to pause for a while:) but I’ll comeback 
What about your first approach with the sport?How it was?
My first real sport? mmm that was biathlon in school…. so i have experience in skiing .So , for me was easy to start training in skijoring with one malamut…
Tell us about your club SK Severan
Today we have only 4 mushers there but we have many weightpulling members, agility members… we show childrens the dogs and sports are better then drugs…we make many events for childrens… On the 1st of august we have organized the 13th kynology event it was about agility and weight pulling (link here)
